Building a new home shouldn’t be an ordeal. At Landmark Homes, we’re homeowners too, so we make the buying process simple. We’ve spent over forty years building homes for thousands of families, so our processes are streamlined, straightforward and easy to comprehend. You’re just eight simple steps away from moving into your new Landmark Home.
1. FIND A COMMUNITY
Select a community that is perfect for you and your family. We’ve chosen to build in Edmonton’s hottest new communities. Our knowledgeable Sales Representatives are there to help with any information you may require, such as future amenities and upcoming surrounding developments. Explore communities here!
2. SELECT YOUR MODEL
Choose from several innovative layouts and pre-designed models we offer! Alternatively, if you can’t find exactly what you’re looking for, our floor plans can be modified to maximize your space– so you can get the most out of your new home plan. Explore our model page here!
3. GET A MORTGAGE PRE-APPROVAL
We work with the best! Choose from our list of approved financial institutions and mortgage specialists. Landmark Homes provides a number of financial services that give you preferred terms for your mortgage. Click here for our mortgage calculator and lender list!
4. COMPLETE PURCHASE AGREEMENT
After obtaining mortgage pre-approval, return to the Area Sales Representative to complete the Purchase Agreement. The balance of the down payment is required at this time. The completed contract will now be ready to sign.
5. INGEVA DESIGN STUDIO
Ingeva, our exclusive Landmark Homes design studio gives you the luxury of selecting every element of your interior, all in one place! Your appointment at Ingeva consists of creative one-on-one time with one of our talented, experienced Interior Designers. They will assist you with interior colour and material selections for your new home and review the costs that will solidify your final purchase price. Ps. We encourage you to bring interior inspiration! 6. FINAL LEGAL DOCUMENTS
The lawyer’s office will contact you to sign final legal documents. If you have used a Landmark Homes approved lender we will provide free legal support through this process to save you the cost and simplify this process. However, you are welcome to use your own lawyer at your own expense.
7. NEW HOME ORIENTATION
Approximately one week prior to possession, you will complete a walk-through with a Landmark Homes Site Manager. You will receive an orientation to learn how your new home works.
8. YOUR POSSESSION DAY
Congratulations! It’s time to move into your beautiful, healthy new Landmark Home.
