Our Story

THE FIRST LANDMARK HOME BUILT BY REZA NASSERI

The Landmark legacy began in 1977 when Reza Nasseri built the first Landmark Home. Reza’s entrepreneurial commitment is to build better homes for you and your family at the best possible price—while giving back to the community. The industry has evolved dramatically over the last four decades, and Landmark Homes has often been at the forefront of its most significant innovations. Building high quality, energy efficient, beautiful homes is what we are passionate about. We are continually innovating building practices through research and development to build you the best home.

Our commitment to the environment and our future generations is evident in our business practices. Our attached garage homes, detached garage homes, duplexes and townhomes are loaded with energy efficient features. We also build Net Zero homes from the low $400’s, making them affordable and attainable to own.

In the last 40 years, we have crafted over 17,000 homes for our customers. We are proud to have shaped hundreds of communities in Edmonton and Calgary. We care about the people who live in our homes and will continue to ensure that we offer the highest quality home at the best value to our customers.

We've been building homes for over 40 years.

Our customers are our legacy.

Giving Back

We believe that building communities takes more than just building homes in neighbourhoods. True success means being able to give back to the community. Since 1996, Landmark Homes and the Nasseri family have given over $22 million to a diverse range of foundations and not-for-profit organizations.

Notably in 2014, the Nasseri family donated $10 million to the University of Alberta Faculty of Engineering to create the Nasseri School of Building Science and Engineering. This school focuses on improving construction and building sciences to advance the use of materials and energy in residential and commercial construction. The improvements made through this research will benefit generations to come.

The House of Hope is a collaboration between Landmark Homes and its trade partners and suppliers to raise funds for the University Hospital Foundation. All proceeds from the sale of this home go to fund equipment, research and patient care at the University Hospital. Best of all, this house is for sale! Be sure to stay tuned for each year’s House of Hope.

To date, Landmark has donated over $5.3 million to the Foundation, with approximately $855,000 being donated from trade partners through the House of Hope project. Thank you to all of our generous partners and trades for their services, materials and monetary contributions, without which the House of Hope project would not be possible.
